I was in Chicago over Christmas & before the latest crazy took place. But I didn't eat IN Chicago while I was there; I ate in the Suburbs. Ditto for last Wednesday. I was IN Chicago, but didn't eat there.
I was in Chicago on Jan. 8 after the restaurant vax thing was in place. The restaurant I went to had a sign up...and no one checked anything. 'Course, this was also a place that had signs highly critical of the shutdowns in the window in 2020.

I have ticket for an Iron Maiden concert to in October at the United Center and you have to be fully vaxed to attend. I had the initial two Moderna jabs a month or two before they even announced it, but I don't know if that qualifies as "full" or I would need boosters. I may or may not attend based on that definition.

So you got the first two jabs but draw the line at a booster??

Is this a place you would consider taking your wife for a birthday dinner? If yes, care to share the name?

Nope, we looked at tickets for a couple of events and they said "fully vaxed" doesn't occur until 2 weeks after the most current booster is administered.
So even if you had the first round of jabs you're still considered unvaccinated until 2 weeks after you have gotten the latest booster. Whatever number that ends up being at the time.
I have no jabs so it really didn't matter.

That's not what the official Chicago website says:

Generally speaking, you aren't "fully" vaxed or bosted until 2 weeks after the shot, but Chicago does not seem to require a booster.

    This went about as expected.

Hotel does not require it. Will try our luck at various places that may or may not ask. Take-out and quality time in the hotel room. :@ya:
Sounds like a plan. And I’m glad your expectations of INGO weren’t dashed. :):

Meh. I only got it to avoid the whole mask drama at work. I'm not particularly concerned about any long term conspiracy stuff. I just don't want to deal with the 2-3 days of chills and body aches.

My mom and dad went in for the 3rd shot.
doc told them he figured they'd need shots the rest of their life.
So my dad got the 3rd shot and said F the rest.

And then they got it the covid anyway.

Same with my parents. And my sister's 5 and 8 year olds...

All of whom refused holiday get togethers because it was too risky.

    ¯\_( ツ)_/¯
