Has anyone else seen the billboard on I-70 eastbound through Indy? It says something to the effect of “Higher murder rate than Chicago. Democrat led since 2016. Indianapolis welcomes you.” Ouch...

There may be Democrats in positions.
I would not call any of them leaders.

never watched msm. I rarely watch anything but local news for the weather or information related to my area anymore. Couldn't even tell you where I got the bad information. Probably random articles here and there, other people, etc. To be quite honest my life has been multiple hospitals and Dr's appointments for the last 6 months taking care of a loved one. Not much time to really care about whats going on in wisconsin.

Best wishes to you and your loved ones, Sir.

thank you, I appreciate that. You would have hated it Red. Had to wear masks everyday and those goofy face shields. You probably know me enough that i dont care much about wearing masks but when they tried forcing me to wear the face shield a little red came out in me. Even got threatened to be kicked out for not wearing one. They never did kick me out though and that stupid face shield stayed in my hands the entire time.

As for him being 17, there were plenty of 17 year olds who hit the Beaches of Normandy and Tarawa
Every American male 17 years to 45, meeting some basic criteria, is a member of the unorganized Militia.

The next time you hear a politician or talking heads speaking lies on this subject, just remember what USC 10, 246 (b)(2) States.

It would do every State well to train it's future Militia members to be effective. Want a suggestion for a good use of public education dollars? Try firearms safety and marksmanship training.

I'm betting if more citizens knew this, and lived it, there would be far fewer "mostly peaceful protests".

If Kyle Rittenhouse had been black:

    * He might not have turned himself in; he was not detained the night of the incident.
    * He most likely would not have been charged.
    * If charged, he most likely would have been charged with a misdemeanor instead of multiple felonies.
    * If charged, he would have had activists, celebrities, and Democrats donating millions for his defense.
    * If charged, his defense team would have consisted of 3 to 10 high-priced famous attorneys, each filing multiple mistrial motions.
    * If charged and convicted, he would have sentenced to "time served."

She is a Democrat. Most of her party today are not, they are simply communists subverting the Constitution at every opportunity.

We should call them what they are. We (and especially dems) have been lying to ourselves for numerous years that "dems" will swing back from the socialism/communism that is now their platform.

From the time that "our own" John McCain famously defended Obama at his town hall to the dems listing gun control in their platform, they are not or will they ever be the dems of old.

I like Tulsi in a lot of ways, certainly not all. Her biggest flaw is not recognizing the above. Then again, there is plenty of room for her to make a big deal out of abandoning the dems at some time in the future. Andrew Yang, another former presidential candidate has done just that.

Take issue all you want pal, the only beaches 17 year old are storming today are on xbox. If you cant see the difference between a 17 year old in 1944 and 2020 thats your choice. Whether you like it or not he wasnt an adult.
I think it would be a fair point to say Rittenhouse would be considerably more like the character young men had in 1944 than most of his peers today.

I'm not sure the dems are really all that interested in socialism or communism, even if they proclaim to be. Maybe applying the economic theory to social politics?

This kind of survey is flawed because it simply mirrors the dems approval of their party being in control…

Amazing how many posters can’t comprehend this case. It does not matter why he was there, how far away he lived from there, what he was doing, who he supported. Has no bearing whatsoever. This case is about the right to defend yourself. Some of the comments are as idiotic as saying if you went to the grocery store and was buying pineapple and some perp started beating the crap out of you, you could not defend yourself, but if you were buying tofu you could defend yourself.
Exactamundo...it's amazing how many want to 'nit-pick' this case apart and try to create 'blame' for the situation, but not withstanding that the reason for Kyle's being there, in and of itself, had nothing to do with the case!

Yep. And to anyone saying he shouldnt have been there, neither should the others. So that cancels out the blame.

Maybe I just read his comment differently. I took it to mean he wouldn’t have let his 17 year old go to a place where there were riots, and for probably the same reason you and I didn’t go to downtown Indy last summer. Aside from the “with an AR15” part, I don’t disagree.

Pretty much how I took it. I would look at my son saying he was going to go to a potential riot to "help" like I'd look at him if he said he was going to Somalia to "help" or to a Travis Scott concert. No, you aren't.

I see several people making some comparison to the military. I don't recall the military sending privates into battle without guidance and leadership right next to them in the form of NCOs. There's a reason for that.
