    Hmmm, maybe .375 winchester?
When the Big Bore 94 came out those used to gather dust on the shelves.

Now folks want em, and they ain't cheap LOL
You are correct. Brain always goes to h&h. I got mine off my grandpa in a trade. Rifle still has never been fired

A pistol with an Indiana connection, a LE Jurras Custom 100 Automag with an extra barrel. Some folks here may remember Super Vel ammunition from Shelbyville Indiana some years back. Lee had Automags made up with the company logo and special features like this one made for a left handed person. I got a chance to talk to Mr. Jurras, one night on the old Automag forum, about some of my Automag items. H lefty automag.JPG e remembered the left handed gun, but could not remember who got it.

I have a near mint Winchester model 47 single shot 22. A very high quality single shot made for 4 years. 43k were made but most have been abandoned over the years.

I have a Davidson limited 44 mag marlin 1894 one of 249 made.

    .40 caliber 1851 Colt (replica).
    .41 caliber 1858 Remington (replica).
And perhaps soon, an M1816 with rifled barrel for .65 diameter round ball.

    far from here
TC contenders were first made in the last half of 1967 and they made around 1200 that first year. I have one from 1967, I bought it from a INGO member a few years ago. I really love this gun. It’s in the 44 mag platform

Had a couple of older Contenders, trigger guard pivot at front. Switched to " easy open " and never looked back.

Read some of the early ones had nothing on sides of receiver. Also there was an eagle version somewhere on there. I like the looks of the puma on the rock. Alas, stainless ones have the large cougar head ( does not look as good).

Am down to just a stainless these days.

I always liked the look of the scalloped Super 14 walnut forend, but not the thumb rest silhouette grip. Think the fingergroove version looks better.

Actually like the rynite fingergroove w rubber backing for low recoil stuff. Mine wears Pachmayr grippers. Like those too, only thing I like em on is the TC.

FWIW the TCA limited run bbls were 12" octagon. They look cool. Missed out on a .22 mag one.

Not really rare more hard to come by. A few years ago my buddy let me shoot his HK USP 9 and I fell in love with them. I now have a full set of USP 9s, expert, tactical, standard full sized, and compact all LE versions, except the the expert, with factory night sights installed.

Truly rare would be a factory Elite 9mm. They don't make them anymore that I'm aware of and only made a very few Elites chambered in 9mm. The Elite is more common in 45.

Seeing Husqvarna reminded me of another I have. Again, not really rare, but unusual.

    Husqvarna 1907 (.380).

It's big for a .380. Here it is next to my 1911 for comparison.

    Everything seems rare these days....
Not all that unusual but I've got an old shooting gallery gun, Winchester 62 in 22 short. The back half is pre WW2, the front half is post WW2. No bluing left on it, so it was shot to no end I'm sure. Still shoots. Accuracy is a little suspect.
I've also got an old break action 20 gauge and single shot 22. Both Sears Springfields.

The Winchester was inherited from my great aunt (her father's). The other was my wife's grandfathers.

I’m not sure the gun is particularly rare but I believe it’s somewhat rare to find one with the original box. Here is my 1977 Sig P220 originally imported by Browning as the BDA. B36E2742-DE6D-43A8-BA48-9C0CDCD8202F.jpeg

On the unusual side, I have an EIG Italy .22 left to me by my grandfather. He won it gambling at the GM factory in New Castle. It’s a junker and I’ve never fired it because of the questionable quality, but it’s kind of neat. E1AA87B1-4189-43E7-B006-C5E3214576CC.jpeg

I have a Bisley in .45 Colt with a 5 1/2 inch barrel that was once nickel plated.

I sent to Colt for a factory letter.

When it left the factory it had a 4 3/4 inch barrel and was chambered in .32-20.
