Really does seem like those in charge care more about their power and control then the actual health of the population... of course, if you look back, it's likely always been this way.

This is the most difficult aspect for the average person to accept. It's where society is at now, a slow process because people easily forget history. Once you flip the switch and think about depopulation, and maybe, just maybe, TPTB don't have your best interests in mind.... the last 19 months make a lot more sense!

That will be an interesting court case. It only applies to those that use their insurance, so it is really an extra charge for insurance if you are not vaccinated.

OK so they can start charging more for other risky behaviors, NO???

Obese surcharge unless you're in a fitness program...

Identify in a group that's highly sexually promiscuous and has a history of unprotected sex...

    etc, etc, etc...

That's already happening and has been for years. Smokers pay more in insurance premiums on a lot of, if not most plans.

They already do that for smoking, so the others aren't that far a reach. It still happens for pre-existing conditions, too, although that was supposed to not be a thing anymore.

    .
I agree with KLB, I'm betting that it goes to court. Smoking and things like old age raise rates, but that's been around a while. Covid just hasn't been on the radar that long.

I can't imagine the media outcry of righteous indignation if these standards had been applied to AIDS many years ago, but I do remember the government mounting a campaign in the 80s to turn AIDS carriers away at the border.

I know it my current employers we have to score a certain number of points to be eligible for a discount on health insurance if not we pay a higher premium. This sounds very similar to that. The first year they did it it was only the employee then it became the employee and spouse

I don't know if it's the Great Reset; however, I see some positive....or, at least, potentially positive outcomes from the isolation of the pandemic.

Families have had more dinners at home.
Mom/Dad aren't commuting and have more of an opportunity to engage with their children. At the very least, they have an extra hour or so of stress freedom from traffic.
The need for two incomes to support lifestyle objectives has been seriously evaluated. To some extent, consumerism and materialism come into greater focus.

It was your citation. You just failed to read their conclusions. I quoted them for you.
I would have loved to lived this scenario. Unfortunately I was working 6 days a week and th me wife was as well.
