Got a FedEx tracking number for my RWS 22 ammo. Shows ETA is this Thursday. So I should see it next Tuesday.

My last two order from Optics Planet came in 2 business days. One with two day shipping and the other with 5-10 free shipping.

Placed an order from them on Thursday and its due tomorrow. Plus I received 12% bonus bucks back.

I have noticed that they are using DHL which I haven't seen in a long time.

My RWS order "estimates" delivery on this Wednesday. Says it left Savannah, GA on Saturday. Not going to wait at the front door.

My order says it left Champagne IL yesterday at 11:30am and in transit. It still has to go to Colorado and Texas before it gets to me so I say Friday before 7pm it'll be here..

FedEx was always my preferred shipper, they seemed so much faster and reliable than USPS or UPS but i've had bad luck with them lately. I shipped two guns to a friends dealer in NW Ohio, literally a 2 hour drive and it took about ten days to finally get there, sat way over in Perrysburg by Toledo most of that time.

At FGE, I noticed a few people had electronic ear plugs. Any recommendations on a set? Do you find them as effective as electronic earmuffs?

At the FGE I was wearing a pair of the Walker ear pro that Gmcttr mentioned. I bought mine used from INGO since the SGE. This was the first time that I got to tray them out. For the price that I paid I'm happy with them. The left side either wasn't working or the batter that put in it wasn't good. The right side acted more like what I was expecting. They did fine, they stopped the loud noises and let me hear everything else. I was concerned on the first shot of trying them out when Brutus spoke, but they did good. I don't like the idea of putting in a new set of batteries when I go to shoot so I think that I will look into some rechargeable ones, but they are definitely good to have on hand with some extra batteries packed with them.

With Brutus you feel it more than hear it. I thought I was in a good area to take a video, but in the video when it fired you can see the camera shake from the shockwave. I'll see if I can post that video up, it's a different angle than the previously posted video.

Well, I've had 3 different FedEx shipments in the last week and all three were on time...

When FedSux has no issues, stuff works pretty well. But, as soon as they do have an issue, it goes really off the rails to a greater degree than some other shippers. The nice thing about USPS is that you have no expectation of it not sucking. FedEx lures you in with decent service most of the time then they route something you really need through Anchorage on it’s way from Kentucky to Indy.
