An original inland paratrooper m1 carbine. It has not been arsenal overhauled at any point. It’s owned by a close friend who bought it in the early 90s from a retired colonel who has served in Korea. Pretty cool!

My uncle has an original 1865 Spencer Carbine. It's in almost like new condition. It is a rimfire and iirc it is 50 caliber. I have no idea what it's worth but he got it out and showed it to me many years ago. How it operated. He never fired it. The ammunition is really different than what one would expect. It's been over 30 years since I seen it. Are these rare firearms?

For me it's a tie between the full functioning prototype of the D-Max carbine or a John Dewey custom P08.

I kinda like my S&W First Model Russian DA in .44 Russian that was shipped from the factory in November 1881. The .44 Russian was the first internally lubricated round and is extremely accurate. John Wesley Hardin had one just like this that he shot holes through playing cards, signed them and sold them for drinking money after he turned to the dark side and became a lawyer...

I have a very nice 629-7 performance center .44 mag revolver that is a Lew Horton, with proper documentation from Lew Horton. There were only 250 of these made in this configuration.
    Some of the features include:
    Unfluted Cylinder
7 1/2 flat sided compensated barrel
    Hand tuned action

This is what it did to a Kitty Liter container full of water, with a 230gr JHP
    50 yards.

For myself it would be a transferable MP5 , that thing was a blast. Unfortunately never had any opportunities to shoot more historical firearms. I hope the CMP does another round of Garands or 1911's in the future

I wouldn't exactly call them rare, but I've never seen anyone else at the ranges I've been to shooting a Browning HiPower. It's always been just me.

A Texas Longhorn Arms Engraved SAA in .44-40/.44 Mag. Gun was made by Bill Grover, only one made in this configuration. "The only Right Hand SAA", it has the loading gate on the left side so it doesn't have to leave the right hand to be emptied and reloaded.

I got to shoot a real MP5, MP5SD, and MP5k just the other day. The MP5k was the most fun. I'm still smiling.

Sorry, what makes it rare is not that it's a hi power. Actually, it's not technically a hi power because it's 40 S&W and uses a S&W type locking system. It's because it's Lithuanian. I think only 300-600 were made for the Lithuanian police. Based on the condition of most, I don't think they actually got issued to the Lithuanian police.

Mine is a HiPower. I never seem to see any other HiPowers at the range, and I can't remember ever running into someone carrying one.

A guy at Henryville, once brought a 1905 Winchester auto loader, .351 Win. he let me shoot it, really cool, he told me to shoot the whole mag but I knew it was expensive, so shot just 3 rounds, pretty neat... I did used to work for a class 3 manufacturer, so personally shot some cool stuff, like a 40mm Bofors, and a quad fifty....

The most rare I have seen at the range which were taken by me. 1) An ALL original WWII un- arsenal updated Winchester M1 Carbine spring tube version. 2) My Marlin 39M Octagon .22 cal lever action. Marlin only made them in 1973 and only 2150 made...ever.
