Why in the world would someone volunteer that info to an app. Sexual Orientation?
    Come on Man.

    I like his background though.

Because people blindly fill stuff out.
I had to point out to people, that when they "share" forms on Facebook with info "to get to know each other", that those questions/answers are exactly those used to verify ID.

    IKR.

Birthdate has now become the "password" for all medical stuff.

I remember back in the day, people thought using a social security number was okay.
If you said anything against it, you were paranoid.
And the.. ta da. Stop using SSNs because of identity theft

I think what bothers me most about all this is that they indemnified the manufacturers so quickly in all this...
Governmental approval sans true testing and validation of results, blanket immunity from liability for the developer / manufacturer, and then they push everyone to take it...
    Smells too much like fish...

There is so much stuff out there with this shot it is hard to know what is correct or not which just adds to the fire. It would be refreshing if we would be given the truth and information to review so each of us can make a decision on our own with the information provided.

The one article I found really interesting is what one member posted on on of the covid threads on here a while back:

    https://www.statnews.com/2021/02/23...-a-covid-19-vaccine-distributed-under-an-eua/

It states that it will take approximately two years to collect adequate data to establish if these vaccines are safe and effective enough for the FDA to license. I don't remember ever hearing that from any news outlet.

I even heard now it will probably be an annual deal like the flu shot...

Security questions are on their way out. It'll probably take years to get everyone on board with that. My bank still uses security questions.

Still remember my college prof talking about, "If you're one of those type of people we can give you a 999-XX-XXXX student ID."

    Mother's maiden name
    First car
    First dog
    Place of birth
    Etc.
Do people have to fill this stuff out on FB or something? I have literally never been asked these questions unless it was just used during conversation. This seems absurd to me.

I have chosen to not disclose my ssn plenty of times, but that's about all I could think of

I have never been asked for my SSN in any situation other than where i knew it was required.

I have never told anyone that my mother's maiden name was Sachs, that my first car was a Maxwell, that my first dog was named Coleman, or that my place of birth was Waukegan, IL? Why would I give that kind of information out?

I have been asked for driver license number, ssn, date of birth at times where I just said no, but the other questions I don't even know what you would be doing to be asked. Seems like random questions.
Of course I didn't have a smartphone until 2012 or internet until 2014 so I am behind the times

Back when I was in the Army my service number was my SSAN. We used it all the time and it was stenciled in big numbers in white paint right on my duffel bag. (which I still have by the way)

Yes, back in my day also.
Because people said you were paranoid for thinking anything wrong could happen.
Also, Indiana State separated DD-214s, and some other forms, out of Public Records into a sub category, because other States had problems with identity theft through the public record system.

    You don't HAVE TO.
It's one of those things people share. "To get to know everyone".
And then they share too much.

If you tell them it's "data mining", then you're paranoid.

    You're paranoid.
    Till it happens.
Then they forget that you said something.

was a Trojan priestess of Apollo in Greek mythology cursed to utter true prophecies, but never to be believed. In modern usage her name is employed as a rhetorical device to indicate someone whose accurate prophecies are not believed.

I don't have twelve minutes to listen to YouTube talking head, so what data was leaked? Because if it's just that they got vaccinated, then how is that different than just reading Twitter/FB/INGO where everyone freely admits (ok, maybe brags about) it?
No respect for confidential medical information I see...
