The guy apparently posted on reddit that before the camera was turned on, the man filming him was throwing anti-gay slurs at him and doing race card nonsense.

The bigger question is why did this guy feel the need to film an interaction with a check-in worker at a Holiday Inn? Do we just record everything now, maybe we should all just wear body cam's?

Oh, to be sure, that guy behind the camera was the *******. The guy behind the counter has some issues. Probably shouldn't be working with people. But, you know, people get things wrong sometimes. It's frustrating to have one's reservations screwed up, but the guy behind the desk is likely not the one who screwed it up. Cut him some slack.

And the ******* should stop making it about race. I seriously doubt that the reservation system the guy used singled him out as being Black. I'm sure the guy behind the counter did not melt down because it was a black customer. If your race is all you have to cling to, if imagined racial slights make you go full Karen on someone, that's just a pathetic existence, IMHO.

Agree, I guess I need to get updated on the rules of when to film and harass low level workers. I've had my share of hotel reservations messed up, uhauls not there when I show up, rental cars, etc. I went to home depot the other day for something that the website said was there that wasn't, I should have brought out the phone lol.
