Or allow yourself employees to protect themselves
That's all fine and good, but as an employer you do have some responsibility to handle problem you create.
Or allow yourself employees to protect themselves

Ok. For the members here, stop the name calling, (for now). If Leverboy is not trolling and is actually here to learn, let him. Every person who can realize that these gun control laws do nothing to prevent this kinda of tragedy, it's better for our side. Yes it's rare but it happens. We have ~8 million first time gun owners in the last 14 months. Not all of them think like the majority of us. If they are willing to learn, let them.Oh, I'm sure. I'm just coming from if I have one guy saying you have to wait a little longer to get your AR vs. another guy saying you can't have an AR, I can wait. If me waiting means that some psycho can't walk into a gun shop all hyped up, buy a gun and take some people out, is that really a bad thing? Does it suck for those of us who play nicely? Most definitely.
My opinion is just that, my opinion. How do we protect our rights and at the same time stop senseless violence. Serious question. You and I both know that a person did this, not a gun but we have to come up with a better solution than just flag waving and saying, "You can't tell me what to do!". People need an answer to gun violence. Shouldn't we, as gun owners come up with the answer before they do?
A lot of companies around here hire us to do part time security when they fire someone they fear might return.Protip to employers, if you fire a sketchy individual, please hire security for a bit.
Have you heard if your friend is safe?Prayers for the victims and their families. still waiting to hear back from a good friend working there last night...
Not looking like it."Coulter’s Law" ?
I am sad to confirm our fears were true.Sorry to hear this.
Didn't some of the reporting today say that the shooter killed the security guards first thing?Protip to employers, if you fire a sketchy individual, please hire security for a bit.
When I worked security, 9 out of 10 jobs were something related to that. It's common sense.
My condolences.I am sad to confirm our fears were true.
One wonders. The way the FBI operates, that could be anything from a case of hand grenades to a copy of the Declaration of Independence.Due to things seen in his room he was interviewed by the FBI.
It seems like an awful high percentage of the mass shooters were in close contact with the FBI... weird.
Per what I saw, it was shift change time. Maximum targets and largest chance the one he was looking for would be there.Ah. Sure seemed like 11pm at a FedEx distribution center was an odd time and place for a targeted spree shooting. Wonder if it'll come out that he worked second shift and had specific individuals and a grievance in mind.
Guess their nogunz signs and metal detectors didn't change his mind.
Observation, or training? It seems like an awful high percentage of the mass shooters were in close contact with the FBI... weird.
It seems that the "I" in FBI has turned from "Investigation" to "Instigation".It seems like an awful high percentage of the mass shooters were in close contact with the FBI... weird.
Anything is possible. Case in point. Instigating rubes into kidnapping the Governor of Michigan. It seems that the "I" in FBI has turned from "Investigation" to "Instigation".
