Depends on what building this happened at out there but FedEx is a federally mandated GFZ with TSa style security checkpoints. It’s just not an option to carry there.
Proof positive that GFZs and Checkpoints don’t work and mean nothing to those who intend to do harm. At this point in the investigation we are all just speculating about what and why it happened but I’m hoping there are no more deaths. Some have mentioned conspiracy theory and while I’m not one to jump on the band wagon I have said before that whenever there are talks about gun control or a big election these tragedies seem to happen all over the country. Who was it that said “Don’t let a good tragedy go to waste”? He didn’t say if those tragedies were random or put in motion to meet their needs. It’s just numbing....

FedEx's policy of not allowing employees to have their cell phones on them (they have to lock them in a locker when they come to work) has made it difficult for people to contact their family members.

From my understanding this was not at the FedEx Express airport facility, but a FedEx ground facility nearby.

It has been confirmed to have happened at the FedEx ground facility near the airport. Seems no security checkpoints there, legality of carrying might still be murky but perhaps a resident legal expert might care to weigh in.

real Indy news on Facebook did a livestream and interview with a witness who saw the shooting start. Could not identify race, said he saw two shooters. Take that with a grain of salt because eye witness testimony and recollection is historically not very accurate for these super high stress situations.

I too pray for the victims and families. The POS that did this took the coward's way out and we may never know why this happened. The .gov and media mob will surely spin this in the direction they want it to go as more evidence to take guns from law abiding citizens.
As far as we know yes. There were some mumblings of an employee going out to their car to get their gun to try and stop him. I hope this turns out to be true and that they took him out. If so it means many lives were saved. We'll see.

Usually when the same kind of thing seems to happen with odd frequency it’s pretty normal to start asking if it’s something in the water.
So what are we speculating on then is it like a gun control version of jihad?

Wasn't there a shooting at a FEDEX facility a few years ago? The press conference had the building's "no guns" sign in the background.
