    I do not have any "safe queens". Mine have always been "tools".

    These pics make me wonder.
    All of mine get shot. There are no safe queens in my house. The only thing that I do hold back on is carrying my full size A2. It's never been in a holster and looks brand new despite having over 800 rounds down the pipe. I have other 1911s for carry

    That sucker is absolutely beautiful. External extractor or not, the SIG 1911s (or what ever we want to call them) are awesome. Also combat guns should have rails.

    Does anyone have any experience with the cylinder and Slide "drop in trigger sets" I know drop in may or may not drop in.. But for a 1911 novice that wants to learn more it seems like a option.
    Nighthawk also has one that is sort of like a AR Timmey trigger. A little pricy though. The Cylinder and Slide kit is like a little over a hundred bucks. Comes with sear, disconector, and main spring
