Braying Ass has been an establishment piece of **** straight out of central casting the septic tank for decades. I see no reason to expect him to change now.

    Where's the bacon?
    Bray's FB post ( I don't see it, sorry if a dupe):
So this was a House Bill presented to the committee to be discussed. If you had concerns, this was not strictly an up/down vote; you had the opportunity to amend. As President pro tem of the senate, you could certainly have testified as to your concerns with the goal of making it work. By blocking the bill from even being discussed, you might shield your party’s senators from blame for a bad bill, but you do so by politically placing your own head on the chopping block. How much better to let the bill be heard and discussed and maybe amended! As to the promise that it would be heard if x number of senators signed on, a rumor like that has to come from somewhere, and the timing seems convenient that so many did so right when it is said you made the promise in question. Circumstantial evidence, of course, but like many people, I don’t believe in coincidence.
There is still time. Amend the bill. Make it work. Make it defend the natural rights of the citizens of this state, and dollars to doughnuts, the House will see a better bill and agree to it in conference committee.

I don’t frankly care who is in charge of the Senate next term, but it should be someone who champions the rights of the people. If you think that’s you, make this happen. Otherwise, I hope you enjoy being a FORMER senator.

I'll be glad personally when this passes just for the convivence of not having to have that slightly-too-big-to-fit license in my wallet.

That’s #19. TN to be #20, most likely. When will it be our turn? #40 or so, if Bray and co. have their way. Prove me wrong, Sen (for now) Bray!
For me anyway it'll be much more convenient to go support (for now) Senator Bray's primary opponent in 2024 than it will be to trek to Fort Wayne next year. I guess it could be worse. The drive could've been Evansville or South Bend. Or much worse... Crawford County!

Latest on FB. Bray, NAGR and Hoosier Gun Rights along with some new group are attacking Ben Smalz and Guy Relford as being anti gun. The bill was intentionally written to be not passable.
NAGR was annoying enough when it was only Curt Nisly in the House doing their bidding.

Dudley Brown is a shakedown artist, period, dot, end of statement.

Intentionally written to be not passable. Seriously?? I guess the other 64 Reps who voted Yes on HB 1369 didn't get the not passable memo.

Well the database thing is an obvious poison pill, you know.
Guy responded, then why didn't you remove that in the committee hearing....

I forget which congresscritter it was, but she hired her husband's PR firm for her campaign, so she was able to take home LOTS of money she wouldnt otherwise be legally allowed to cash in on.
Ilhan Omar, of course. This is her third husband. She's moved on from her brother.

She funneled almost $3 million through his firm. That was 80% of his company's revenue in 2020. Nice work if you can get it.

From my understanding they are acting like a new database to be created, Guy said on his show that isn't true. He said they want access to the databases they already have, but more access to it. Apparently they only have access from the office not the squad cars.
    Can anyone verify this?

Ive heard this before. But its not a big deal for most departments. Most dispatchers are tied into the system and can get a verification of a LTCH in seconds. I've heard it happen myself listening to scanner traffic. (along with priors, warrants, etc)

When I had my incident, Westfield PD wasnt tied in, and they had to call the ISP on the phone to verify. In my case nobody would call them back with an answer so I was left sitting on the side of the road for 20 minutes waiting for an answer since my officer was obviously on a fishing expedition/power trip.

Off their website, I think they need to look up the words: conservative, values, and overreach.

Edit: they endorsed Nisly, that's all I need to see.

Our mission at Young Conservatives of Southern Indiana is to Stop Government Overreach and spread the Conservative Values! This Organization is very Conservative. I felt it was necessary to have an Organization to keep Conservative Values and hold Elected Officials accounted for when they are overstepping their powers.
