No. There's still money to be made on the market even though a ********** is sitting in the whitehouse.

Amazon's probably gonna reach even higher when Biden puts us through his "dark winter".
A brain dead puppet and his handler are sitting in the white house people. To not see this is pretty damned scary.

Yes. Indeed. I think the country is gonna be much worse off in 4 years than it is now, overall. We'll functionally have fewer rights, higher debt, greater unemployment, higher taxes, way more insane social justice.

That doesn't mean I can't make a few bucks on the stock market investing in the things that Biden will help along. Like Green energy. Investing in it isn't an endorsement. It's just recognizing the high potential for that market to gain. My post was only about the market increase, not anything else.

Good luck with that. Several of us have been down this same road many times, and reached the same destination you have.

Several, now former, members have reached a much worse destination after being continually baited, having their heels nipped at until they responded, and the instigator ran off to cry.

With some people, starting from a position of good faith is just an invitation for abuse.

Anyways, the President has signed several EOs reversing EOs from the previous administration.
    Some of those include:
    -Eliminating the "Muslim Ban"
    -Re-entering the Paris Climate Accords
-Revoking the permit for the Keystone Pipeline
-Putting a halt to the construction of the wall
    -Renewing commitment to DACA

It is exactly stuff like this, that many people voted for Biden.
I am reading wondering if I am actually seeing this or the waitress put some Jack in my Coke.

    1. What is wrong with restricting travel and immigration from countries with no effective device for vetting people and which consistently supply an abundance of dangerous people? I fail to see any reasonable justification for endangering our own people in the name of being "fair" to outsiders at the expense of our own citizens.

    2. Why would you support that ****ing moron dragging us onto a so-called climate accord that in reality is nothing but a scheme to redistribute our money to others? Whose side are you on?

    3. Why do you oppose the Keystone XL? Is it really that important to you that the oil (and the money) are moved on Warren Buffett's trains instead?

    4. Why do you support illegal immigration?

    5. Why do you support legalizing illegals using teenagers as poster children while the program itself is significantly broader. I am not going to the trouble but I recall examples of 30ish criminals qualifying. If you actually care about the wellbeing of the United States (which you have persuaded me to believe that you do not) you can research the topic yourself.

    6. Given that you have a serious problem with a president putting our own country first for a change, please tell us where your loyalties lie.

Why virtue signal when participation doesn't actually accomplish the goal of reducing Earth's temperature? I mean, it's not like those other nations don't spend money frivolously too. The "Muslim ban" is not bigotry though. That's a figment of delusional people's minds.

Regardless how it's been portrayed, banning travel from countries which tend to harbor terrorists (notwithstanding the curious exclusion of some countries who should be on that list) is helpful to our country, not hurtful. If those countries have improved their behavior, okay then. That's the thing that should precipitate removing their country from the list, and not some nonsense narrative that it's "bigotry".

The alleged "Muslim Ban" did not include the most of the top ten most populous Muslim countries. Worst ban evar!!

OK Hotrod. I have been waiting for you to pop up in these threads.
Ease up and make a point. You are on my list of :stickpoke: as are a few others.
Honeslty CM, I really don't understand the list. I see people making points, and sometimes points I know many INGOers disagree with. Both sides :stickpoke: but many of the posts aren't even that. A list that I think would be beneficial is the vindictive posts seeking retribution for past shade. Seems to me those are the most divisive. Not the ones that simply disagree with the standard INGO opinion.

I seem to recall him fashioning a whip and beating evil dishonest people desecrating the temple. That sort of high road?
We got a Christianity thread... hint, hint.
    (Jetta says in another thread)

I feel like the nerdy youth pastor trying to be hip and inviting kids to youth night with pizza and Mt. Dew.

We should have a sticky thread for the list so we can check it out!

Well, just to say a final word about lists and the reasons people might make it onto them, I think it's unrealistic to eliminate snark when so many people have so many differing opinions and sometimes things do get contentious. I typically use think sarcasm to point out the absurd. Maybe that should earn me a spot on some list.

I think what is truly divisive is when people post to twist the knife. For exmaple, Trumpers have had a hard couple of months. And we have some members who like to twist the knife. I mean, it's fine to point out some pretty over the top beliefs, and maybe even have some fun with it. But if it's retribution that is sought, THAT is the worthwhile list to keep. I dunno. Maybe that's what CM's :stickpoke: list really is. I don't think I deserve to be on that list though, and from conversations on a thread that was locked a few days ago, I suspect I am.

Maybe the "doing me a solid" was a tacit admission of losing patience that the bait wasn't working as intended?

OK. But its not up to you to understand.
Sit here, in this chair and read. Just read.
React to the reports that you never see. Deal with the issue of which you have no clue.

There is a group that only comes out to stir crap in these threads.
There is a group that only comes out when times are terrible for us (you know, gun owners....this is a gun forum) to rip our heads off to make a profit selling us ammo. Never see these groups any other times. We deal with them.

Now, if you want to jump in and set the tone with a 3 or 4 word hit here and there then a stab down thread you to will be one of those guys. A sound biter expert so to speak.

One day you and I well have to break bread over an adult beverage.

I want folks to get involved. So get involved.
