Keep track of the time spent using the pool vs the time spent working on the pool. I never found it to be a good trade off.

Make sure that you check the local laws, etc. for where you live. You don't want to have to move it because of a rule/law you weren't aware of.

I also think about how many other things that I like better that the money could be spent on.

just filled ours in last year, grass just started to come in
kids are gone and the pool boy is getting old
it was great when the boys were growing up except it always
cost me a fortune feeding them and their friends, but the upside was
we always knew where they were

    @larcat

Have the relative in Tennessee check to see if a local Tennessee FFL can send a prepaid FedEx shipping label to the Illinois resident to have the guns shipped to the FFLs location. Once they have a label they can schedule a FedEx pickup. When they arrive the Tennessee FFL can transfer them to the new owner (if they pass the background check, etc.). I am sure that the FFL will charge fees for all of this. If this is legal it would streamline things to dealing with one FFL, at the destination end and have the healthy person doing the work. Perhaps an agreement would need to be made transferring the guns to the FFL for the sole purpose of transferring them on to the new owner?

A check with an attorney in Tennessee who deals with firearms laws might be a good idea. Perhaps one of the attorneys here on INGO can recommend one?

I would try to eliminate all Illinois involvement in the process that you legally can.
Thanks @marvin02 that makes sense as a back up -- I'm going to suggest that they try and have a local FFL do a house call, thinking the uncle probably has one in his circle, but not sure. The IL piece I hear you on, but this seems like the clearest way to handle it. Appreciate you chiming in.

Neighbor looked into getting a generator installed. All said supply is 6-8 months out. He decided to wait everything gets caught up and contact them then.
We had some quotes worked up in fall -- same deal, 3-6 months out and of the three, only one (NWI Generator) wasn't trying to take us for a ride (and they weren't cheap.)

Most of us know each other in the real.

We have Meet & Eat and Meet & Shoot events and each summer (barring Covid shutdowns) we host a Family Fun Shoot with DNR and 4H at Winamac FWA range.

We hope to see you sometime.

Well we're young and have alot of friends so I think we'll get major use of it. Especially since we spend summers trying to get anywhere that has water

Luckily my day job is easy on the body, because my night job is killing me.

I've been finishing the basement since about early September. I work about 3 hours every evening and most Saturdays. 2 rooms had drywall hung when we bought the house that I finished first. Ask me what diy job I hate the most. If you guessed finishing drywall, you get a pat on the back.

Now, I am working on the largest room in which removed the drywall that was hung there to cover the walls with tongue and groove carsiding. We are going for a "rustic lodge" look. I have completed 406 sq feet of wall and have 206 sq feet to go. Finished the longest wall last night. Tonight, sanding the remaining carsiding...outdoors.

My last week in quarantine was harder than any work week... I absolutely HATE housework... Carpentry is such a hack unsure thing... You can build a house 80 different ways and they all be wrong... You build a motor out of spec 0.0001 and it's toast....

    Pool gets installed late April.

Guy said usually he has 24 pools on layaway.. This year it was 260...i said nay... I want to pay in full and have it delivered ASAP so I'm on the install list first.

Tell me when you are ready for a deck proposal.

It's all good, poking a little fun is all. Hope to meet the lot of you at some point. Might even have to invite a few over to my range... Covid hasn't shut that one down at all.
