Our payroll screwed up and we are all getting DOUBLE taxed now!

Recall that last year they started to defer the OSAID TAX (SOCIAL SECURITY) but come Jan - April of 2021 they were going to double tax.

Well I was not part of the deferred tax in 2020. Yet my check today is double taxed anyways.

HR email reply was they dont know how they are going to fix it as it affected many others.

And HR said expect the same to occur in 2 weeks as well. ouch!!!

I will pay over 110% of this month's net income in taxes and I'm retired!

And I don't get no gubmint stimulus bucks, no SS, no medicare/medicade, etc cause I'm old but not old enough.

Dont worry your new daddy is going to spend so much money there will be no SS for anyone soon enough.

Shame he is only on office for 4 years. Cause the SS train is going to all off then tracks in 2030-2032 so 3 presidents from now THAT president everyone is going to HATE mid-way thru his/her term.

My Acadia took a crap, it already had a dying wiper motor, a slow coolant leak, and needed one of the wheel speed sensors replaced and I'm pretty sure the transmission is ready to go. I really don't feel like dealing with getting it fixed right now and at 185Kish miles it's really not even worth it. I might throw it in my garage and F around with it myself when I have time or just scrap it.

I originally started looking at cars and crossovers with AWD. The Honda HR-V was on the shortlist although I also considered the Challenger GT AWD lol. My mom has been letting me borrow her Pontiac Vibe while the Acadia has been down and those are just a Toyota Matrix with American clothes and it's been a damn reliable car for her. So I went and looked at Toyotas intending on maybe a Camry or Rav4 and this one caught my eye.

Just don't buy from Toyota of Merrillville.

Horrible hack service dept that I'm still fighting with to get our highlander fixed properly

Now that I think about it, the title application should be at the BMV right now so I can register it and it's still not there. I'll give it til Monday and give them a call to make sure they actually sent it.

That is how pretty much all new systems are received when they are put in.

Normally there are some excited for the change. In fact, there was a lot of excitement as the previous system it's replacing was 20 years old and most that was just mod on top of mod previously. But this new system takes a simple one minute entry into a painful experience where you re input most of the information.
