Ooh, me likey. I don't know why I've been lusting after pickups lately. I've always wanted one, but it's not really a practical choice for me.

My Acadia took a crap, it already had a dying wiper motor, a slow coolant leak, and needed one of the wheel speed sensors replaced and I'm pretty sure the transmission is ready to go. I really don't feel like dealing with getting it fixed right now and at 185Kish miles it's really not even worth it. I might throw it in my garage and F around with it myself when I have time or just scrap it.

I originally started looking at cars and crossovers with AWD. The Honda HR-V was on the shortlist although I also considered the Challenger GT AWD lol. My mom has been letting me borrow her Pontiac Vibe while the Acadia has been down and those are just a Toyota Matrix with American clothes and it's been a damn reliable car for her. So I went and looked at Toyotas intending on maybe a Camry or Rav4 and this one caught my eye.

Toyotas are good. We've had good luck with them, new and used in my family. You might also want to look Subaru's I'm on my second Outback and really like the new models.

What are you looking for? First thing you need to do is decide what kind of vehicle you actually want. Small SUV, mid-size SUV, small car, etc. Then how much you want to spend. Buying a car is so much fun...er....work.

Well, almost the weekend. Class yesterday had me less excited about the new system at work, not more.
Although apparently no one likes the new system at all.

My mom has an HRV and loves it. It has a small car feel but still has AWD. My RAV4 is bigger and feels just a bit more solid, more like a mid size car or an SUV.

My perspective is the Rav4 feels like a really small SUV(my aunt has one) where the HR-V was more relaxed and roomy car seating position. I don't fit well in a Rav4 but the HR-V was just fine.

Does your aunt have an older RAV4 or a newer one? The older ones were smaller.
