Okay. One thing I have figured out, if you want to quote just part of a post, just highlight the parts of a post you want to highlight, and then a "reply" overlay will appear, click that, and it will add just the highlighted text in a quote widget to the reply box.
    That’s kinda awesome.

So, has anyone else had the problem of some of the threads time stamps don't match the post number? I like to post in the "Two Words" thread and it appears the post numbers have been corrupted and the posts are out of order.

I have noticed this as well. A couple of posts I made an hour or two ago or appearing in front of some of the posts added since last Tuesday.

It looks to me like this is due to how threads are ordered. They’re apparently not ordered by timestamps, but by post number or primary key. So that means the posts that didn’t make the switchover, and were later added back, will show up at the end of the thread as of the time the admins added them back in. But the timestamps on the posts will reflect the time they were posted in the old system.

If the forum software orders them by primary key, or post number, I don’t think there’s an easy way around it. It could be done, but it would suck.

Yep, CZ thread has this issue as well. I woke up and was reading along and finding a ton of posts from Thursday interspersed with stuff from last night and this morning. Makes things hard to follow.

    Any way to:
    1) get rid of the tiles on the right-hand side of the screen? Would be nice to have that real estate for post material. Most of that used to be at the bottom, out of the way.
    2) reduce the "row" height for forums or posts? All of the "fluff" under a users avatar causes short posts to be several inches taller then needed, resulting in a ton of wasted space. Similar for the "What's New" or any list of posts. Each line has a ton of buffer that is unnecessary.

Whoa! And I am getting "trophies!" What the hey? Are these like frequent flyer miles, can I trade them in on ammo?

One thing about these updates is the reward currency of the old system is mostly gone and we start pretty well on ground floor now. They likely will adjust the trophy settings when the dust settles. They do not seem to reward the big posters enough...

    1. go to the very very bottom of the page below CONNECT with us, and click on "toggle sidebar".

    2. I have no idea.

Dunno if this has been posted or not yet, but I just discovered something.

If you directly paste a url into the reply box, rather than using the link button, it posts some of the linked page, beyond just the link.

Use of the like button instead of one line posts with a thumbs up, "+1" "cool", or "Thanks!" will keep the threads shorter. It's one advantage of the like button. If you are on desktop hovering over the like button gives you options for your reaction, hover over each one that pops up to see what it is.

Maybe these reactions could be customized to include some typical one line reactions such as +1 and thanks?
