Whoa! And I am getting "trophies!" What the hey? Are these like frequent flyer miles, can I trade them in on ammo?

You get trophies for passing certain milestones. After you've met certain post thresholds, then it's mostly about meeting "like" thresholds.

Okay. One thing I have figured out, if you want to quote just part of a post, just highlight the parts of a post you want to highlight, and then a "reply" overlay will appear, click that, and it will add just the highlighted text in a quote widget to the reply box.

For example, I highlighted just "I have not." from the previous post, clicked the reply overlay, and it produced this:
    I have not.

Another thing I found. You can type out a post, then decide you want to quote something someone said up thread. Go back to the page the post is on, highlight the part you want to quote, and click the reply overlay. It'll add the quote after the text you've already typed. I don't know if it would work cross thread. The reason it works that way is because it saves a draft. So it's just appending the quote to the draft version.
Just type the @ and start typing the name of the person
I typed that out, then went upthread to pick out this part of KLB's post.

I have to say that replies are easier now

    Of all types

    Happy days

I wish replies had a cancel button though. From trial and error, it seems that the functional equivalence to the cancel button is multi-part.
    1. Select all in the textbox then delete.
    2. Click Drafts, then delete draft, in case the draft has not been updated.
The last step probably isn't always necessary though.

It appears to me that at least some of my recent (last three or four days) posts have gone AWOL.

Also I can't find the Defensive Gun Use thread?

The last 3-4 days of posts are supposedly in the process of being processed and moved over.
