Let's try a real world test. If rising sea levels are inevitable and all the ice will melt, lets get the federal government out of the flood insurance business now. Let the people who want to live in harms way pay private insurance prices (if they can find it) or have the resources to rebuild on their own

How many votes do you think you could get for that in congress?

Oh, Oh, Oh, I know, I know, not enough...

Why? Because so many of them own property in the flood zone...

So buying extremely expensive beachfront property on an exclusive island would be a bad decision if you put any stock in the idea of global warming and rising sea levels. Somebody better tell Mr. Obama, unless he already knows it's nothing but a fraud to scam money out of Americans.;)

I may buy a hardcover and ship it to my sister-in-law. She probably won’t burn it. That would add carbon. Probably won’t throw it away:waste of trees/adding to landfill waste. It’s a perfect gift.

Added bonus, he's ahead of the curve on realizing that if you wish to reduce carbon, you have to get friendly with nuclear - that you can't run a modern economy on wind and solar
In AOC’s economic model we don’t have a modern economy.

I know 99% of you will ignore this since it's 30 minutes long, but I would be interested in those highly involved in this subject's point of view. The Chip's, for example. Aside from "WHAT ARE THE SOURCES". But serious views.

I say this as a skeptic that is fully aware that "climate change" is used for fundraising and policy change.

Edit: I did notice around the 17m mark that he waivers less into hard facts and more into conjecture, then around 22m, purely into "It's fossil fuels!"... when he never truly made that connection.

2020 has really sucked for progressives. There’s the whole RGB thing. The Antifa thing didn’t turn out like they had hoped. And now this. A cold winter will push the end of the world all the way to 2033! Queue the screaming lady. Nooooooooooo!
