Police chief said that many rioters are from out of state.
.this is looking more and more like organized, calculated, armed insurrection/terrorism than just a pop up riot.
These black groups have very violent tendencies and plans. They are organized. I really hope after the military starts killing some of these criminals and this stops, the fbi hunts down the paid organizers of this riot in whatever group they belonged to.
Get phone and email records or whatever and send these terrorists away for life

Johnson sent Almost 12,000 Federal Troops to DC in 68 with arms, Not a shot was fired by any Federal Troops. Police shot and killed two rioters.
Its not a good thing to think that we would want out troops to shoot citizens.
What Soldier or Marine would want to shoot a US citizen.

    Good.
Some cities won't take the cowardly retreat aproach.

If the blacks want to have the race war theyve been itching to have for a long time, ok. We will get a lot of things fixed in this country real quick and in a hurry. And in the end we will also cut off all of the entitlements and handouts.

In situations this dire and extreme, that's the only way you can sort out the bad people from the good people.

    Interesting.

I wonder what a man in Minnesota defending his loved ones, his property and his self from rioters and pillagers would think of being considered "good" or "bad" by such a "sorting standard".

Frankly, I doubt a good man would give a flying **** about the "sorting standard", and do the right thing in spite of being sorted as a bad man for doing so.

    Just checking my thinking.

    Thank you for your assistance.

You dont have to have a gun in your hand to be treated as an enemy combatant and legally shot.
    We are past that.
A city is burning and these arent just the dumb asses that started this. Now they are receiving outsode help and instruction on what to target and how to inflict the quickest and most damage to the infrastructure. This has moved into acts of terrorism and the president now has a green light to deploy the military.

This is **** i know a lot about and they better get this under control now. We are past just afew thousand street thugs rising up. This is organized gorilla warfare. Ive seen it before.

It would be very interesting to see evidence developed of a command and control structure. A couple of hours ago it looked to me like a bunch of angry young people trying to raise hell and make themselves a part of history (an ugly part…).

When i first saw a cart with gallon jugs of milk on them to help mitigate pepper spray, that was the first clue there were outside influencers on the ground fueling this. This had planning. Look at how its changed from chaos to organized targeting of key infrastructure. This is organized

I want to make sure that we are perfectly clear with this sight picture.

You are advocating an armed federal military to be deployed into the interior. To declare citizens of the United States as "enemy combatants" and to shoot dead any of the civilian population.

Like I wrote originally, the officer that had his knee on the suspect’s neck just needed to tune in for a few seconds to the people around him that were SINCERELY PLEADING with him, telling him that he was “killing this man”. The fact that neither he, nor any of the other three officers on scene with him were able to do that is precisely why we’re here now. It’s unconscionable, unexplainable, and unjustifiable under the apparent circumstances. It’s clear. He wasn’t resisting. He became completely nonresponsive. Of course, it’s extremely unlikely the officer meant to kill him, but how can someone be so barbaric and clueless? And how can three other officers stand by and watch and let it happen? HOW???

    I answered that.

That's closer to the truth than you probably think in some jurisdictions. Do you know why that officer sat with his knee on Floyd's neck with his hands in his pocket until Floyd was dead? Because he had absolutely no regard for Floyd as a human.

How does one become that way? By dealing with the worst scum that society has to offer day after day after day. A front row seat to man's inhumanity to man. When nearly everyone you interact with on a daily basis acts like a ****ing animal, you start to think that they are ALL ****ing animals. Every day, it's nothing but thieves, rapists, child molesters, drunks, drug addicts, burglars, domestic abusers, pimps, whores, murderers, scammers, crazies and the run-of-the-mill insolent malcontent horde.

One has to come up for air and step back to take a look at the big picture. Some don't, so you get what we have in Minneapolis right now. To that officer, George Floyd was every scumbag that he had ever dealt with in his career up to that point. Sadly, Floyd paid for it with his life.

The officer's actions are indefensible. He caused a man's death through his actions and indifference. He should pay for what he did. No way anyone can condone what he did.

But I understand how he got there.

“Beware that, when fighting monsters, you yourself do not become a monster... for when you gaze long into the abyss. The abyss gazes also into you.”― Friedrich W. Nietzsche

So if a group of US born terrorists take over a police station, blow up buildings, and burn down a city, it's wrong to consider them enemy combatants?

    Whew, that's a stretch.

Not any civilians. Only Combatants involved in armed and deadly insurrection.
    Yes.
    It can be legally done.
You have advocated the killing of police officers.
I kkow which side you're on. Not shocked youd have a problem with what needs to be done

please show me exactly where, with my words, I advocated the murder of police officers.

you advocate the murder of unarmed civilians.

Some of your posts sure sound like you are advocating your want for the Troops to commence shooting.
Thoughts like that make me glad both of my sons are across the pond on deployment. I want no Soldier or Marine to have to live with shooting US citizens.

The Fed needs to fly over and drop some thing that puts everyone to sleep for a few hours. Then scoop everyone up and lock them up. Let them all figure out who makes it out of that cage.

To quote INGO's own Guy Relford, "You can't shoot someone for taking your stuff." Loved ones, self, total strangers, who are in risk of serious bodily injury or to prevent a forcible felony? Reasonable force (including deadly force) is authorized.

Now when I see "enemy combatant" and "military custody" in reference to what we see now? I have serious concerns. Full-disclosure: over 21 years active duty military and when I hear "military custody" here in the CONUS? Yeah I get concerned.

True. When your property is being burned to the ground, its a different matter than some rioter or pillager walking away with personal property.

I also am concerned when the idea of "enemy combatants" and "military custody" come up. Hence my question towards the suggestion.
