Not blaming the victims, but exasperated that more of these folks do not see the sense in arming themselves. Even armed, if it is your time, it is your time, but if I am armed, I am not forced to rely on good luck or the mercy of a madman.

I have always been perplexed that there is not near 100% support of 2a in the queer, black and jewish communities. If I had taken the **** the gay folks have or my kin had been loaded into cattle cars and exterminated or held in literal chains, owned, sold and worked like animals, I would sure as **** want my people armed.

Being unarmed is a state of mind, not a state of being.

There are reports that the killer was abusive to his ex-wife yet he had a spotless record when he applied for his permit to carry and he was also allowed to buy the guns. The ex-wife is speaking out now but what did she do before while she was being abused? Did she call the cops? Did any of their friends call the police? Evidently not or the guy would have had a record and not have been allowed to own a gun. The laws can only work when people report those who break them.

crowded drunks and low light sounds like a great place to bring a gun

yes lets only follow laws you agree with

Seems the founding fathers made a law that says I have the right to bear arms...

I will break every law if that is what it takes to protect myself and my loved ones.

As long as laws are made for a world they wish existed rather than the one we actually live in, these things will continue to happen.

Gun free zones are slaughter houses waiting for evil. Reality is only hard to understand for the simple minded. The liberal mindset is ruled by emotion, not logic.

Liberals also want to rule and control. And they will use every catastrophe to make it happen.

Has there been any reports of how he managed to shoot over 100 people? It seemed like a small venue and with 350 people it must have been fairly close quarters. To have hit nearly 1/3 of the occupants without being taken out is somewhat surprising. Was there an elevated or protected spot he found?
Just imagine holding an AR in a club that packed. Probably using FMJ ammo. Human instinct is to run FROM the gunfire. When there is nowhere to run, people just hunker down and try to hide...getting shot. It is uncommon for victims to fight back in mass shootings.

Obviously none of us know 100% for sure what happened... how it was all laid out... what was around him... etc. But I just can't imagine, in a building with so many people (assuming it was somewhat crowded)... that no one in his blind-spot could restrain him. Or a couple people.

Any maybe someone did, I don't know... It just seems like someone should have been able to subdue him with so many people around.

I assume Paris will light up the Eiffel Tower in rainbow colors to help solve the problem.

    Yes. And others.

"Queer" is fine when not used with malice (as an adjective rather than a noun). The only people it offends are those who have no reason to be offended.

Except when dealing with the militant gay rights folks. Those will say that Queer is like the N word; only cool to be used by those who are "in". You can still use the full on formal "Genderqueer", just not Queer.

They are waking up. Last year at the gay pride parade, there was a guy walking around near the Libertarian booth with a sign that said "gays with guns dont get bashed". And Ive seen many posts on Facebook where some "get it".

    I didn't know abou that.

And I was just saying that to mean we all stand with the victims, not meant as an offense.
I'm not American so I wasn't gonna say "We're all American". :patriot:

And I'm sure you can still be fabulous without being queer. :):

Quite a few here are "Queer" in the old world definition, so dont sweat it. (Odd, slightly off. Weird) :):

Sounds like a **** poor place to not have a gun and a flashlight.
