I am familiar with this store, daughter lives in Milwaukee. This store is the Don's Guns of Milwaukee so not surprising.
From the video, it appears, that this was pretty obviously a straw purchase. There was also a pic of the 4473 that was a mess with crossed out/ corrected info. Kinda what was talked about in another thread about a straw purchase at the 1500. People were all butt hurt saying mind your own buisness etc but THIS is what happens when a bad dealer is allowed to do illeagal transactions and nobody says a word. The timing on this couldn't have been any worse given todays climate.

Yep. That's what a lot of pro 2A advocates have been saying. No need for new laws. There are plenty of laws on the books. ENFORCE existing laws.Based on what I've seen / heard, the case looks legit. It could be a positive - shows that enforcing existing laws can help. Might make shops think twice about straw purchases.

I think the Badger Firearms ruling will be the "camels nose under the tent" to collapse the firearms industry. The shop may have been liable for violating Federal laws in commerce of weaponry, but they were not the criminals that used the firearms against the Peace officer.
The NICS system has holes in it caused by hipa laws having to do with mental health. As this case becomes precedent, every person in the legitimate commerce of firearms or ammo could be held liable. The court system can take down the firearms industry like yanking a zipper.
"Honest judge, those people I ran over while driving drunk would be alive today if The Chevy dealer didn't sell the car I was driving to my dad"
