Yeah sounds like a dirty business. It's like if you meet your gf cheeting on your first girlfriend can you ever really trust the new Girlfriend? Just me being paranoid probably.

It's how they work. I intentionally put my info out there on Linkedin and made connections in my field. My certifications and experience speak for themselves and this opportunity matched my skill-set. Nature of business.

Yeah, some of the guys would be happy for me, one guy would be mad because I'm not a 'lifer' like him...oh well.
I'm happy for you. I think you always have to look out for yourself nowadays in the business world. There is no more (well rarely) any loyalty from employers anymore) used to work both ways. Now an employer will **** can you in a heartbeat if it's better for their bottom line. They care nothing about the individual. Ll you can do is honor your contract if employment and give it 100% while your there. And always keep your options open. I think if your giving it 100% then your already a model employee.

I do my job, and I do it well. They know that. I am the only person that knows how to run a certain piece of equipment to its full potential. They don't really recognize that, at least not monetarily. I rarely get a "good job" let a lone a decent raise. I like the work and I like the people, but I don't like how all the money stays at the top while us pee-ons do all the work for cheap.

    Qft.

Only chance you got is if you work for yourself. But then your employee might screw you.
