I picked up a six pack of 312 Wheat Ale tonight and came to the conclusion that while it is one of my more favored beers, it isnt my favorite beer. That honor has to go to Rock Bottom's Red Beer - a very close second going to Blue Moon.

So, what say you, INGO, what is your favorite beer?

Bell's 7000th batch...But probably probably because it is no longer available.

DogFishHead's 120 minute IPA or Bell's Consecrator Dopplebock would rank atop my list of beers that are still available.

Man, I just can't seem to get a good taste for IPA's. I've had some decent ones, but a few that were just too harsh for me.

I like the wheat beers in the summer...

I'm a big fan of (right now):

    Yuengling
    Boulevard Wheat
    Hoegaarden
    Leinenkugel's Honey Weiss

Might have to try those IPA's....just had some that are so hoppy with such a bite that it is hard to really enjoy one on a hot day without that instant " this will give me a headache in the morning" feeling.

I know some say its **** beer, but I really enjoy Dos Equis XX lager, in the green bottle.

    Or...

    Fat Tire.

If you get the chance, Oaken Barrel in Greenwood makes some fine tastey beer, especially the RazWheat.

I live the High Life. She ain't fancy, but the girl in the moon gets the job done. Plus it's the champagne of beers, it says so right there on the can!

My two favorites though are Smithwicks and Yuengling.

You might want to look into Ranger IPA from New Belgium (also brews Fat Tire). It didn't have as much of a "bite" as other IPAs I've had
