Had a fun day at Blythes indoor range with my Ruger 10/22. And I had a new shooter with me. She had never shot or touched a gun in her life, and she was a little scared, took me 20 minutes of coaxing to get her to pick up the .22 and have a blast with it. I went through the safety guidelines for about 15 minutes and showed her around the rifle. But I can now say she is Proficient with both Iron and Red Dot sights.

Such a good time today, nothing like taking a new shooter to the range for the first time. I can't wait till she is brave enough to try the SKS or one of my pistols like her sister.

Hey, fellas, go gutter-ize the other thread.

I'm very glad to see a new female shooter added to the ranks.

But, c'mon. Who where's high-heeled stilleto boots to the range?
