**Winners announced, see post #83.**I have a mystery box in my safe. On the floor of my safe there is a box that is there to prop up short carbines so they reach the notches above. This box took the place of a S&W custom shop case when I sold the gun. I swear on the brilliance of John Moses Browning I do not remember what is inside.

Description: brown corrugated box measuring approximately 12"x15"x6".
It could be full of cookies, ammo, bacon, magazines, Jimmy Hoffa’s ashes, I truly have no idea.

So, post your guess as to the contents and win a prize. Be detailed, if you guess ammo, give a round count and caliber/gauge. If you guess bacon, estimate # of strips, weight, maple versus smoked, etc. The winner will have a choice of one of the following:

Book Ruger and His Guns [ame="http://www.amazon.com/RUGER-HIS-GUNS-History-Firearms/dp/0684803674"]Amazon.com: RUGER AND HIS GUNS: A History of the Man, the Company and Their Firearms (9780684803678): R.l. Wilson: Books[/ame]

    Ruger P Series mag like this Ruger P89, 93, 94, 95, PC9 9mm Magazine 15-rd [90233] - $38.99 : Richs Online Store, Customize & Shop Firearms & Accessories

    Beretta 92 full cap magazine

1911 .45 acp magazine (don't ask brand, etc. it's free)

Swedish alcohol stove (sample pic) Buy burner, alcohol stove, outdoor stove, Trangia Spirit Alcohol Stove at Aliexpress.com

Two complete MRE meals (+/- 2007 manuf., my choice on menu, YUM!)

I know, a stunning array of merchandise just waiting to be won. Post your guess between now and 5:00 pm, cdt Friday Nov. 11, 2011. I am the sole judge as to the winner of the contest. One entry per person, please. The contents and resulting winner will be posted Monday Nov. 14th.

If it is bacon, then you're going to have some explaining to do as to why it was wasted......but my guess would be that it is empty which puts me at much better odds than actually guessing something that may be in it.

I am going empty box you had laying around. My theory is you mentioned no writing on the box. Usually boxes with no external text are used to house a part of something larger within another box or case. Therefore I vote empty.

    14 copies, non-sequential - american rifleman

If you haven't needed anything so far, it MUST be parts.
    I am guessing:
some AK or AR trigger parts
Probably an old 10 round Glock magazine or two
    leftover sights from a glock
    various recoil springs
    and a cheap Tasco scope.
