Another thread made me think of those question.

What were your car colors and makes and models. And for fun of how many cars in a lifetime. How old are you.

    Mine from first to last.

    1987 Buick Electra green
    1998 Jeep Cherokee Blue
2004 Jeep Wrangler bright green (still have it)
    2012 Dodge charger pursuit edition
2005 Dodge ram 1500 gray douchebag edition
2020 Jeep gladiator bright blue (got it on December 8th last year)

    I'm 38.

Not necessarily in strict order, all inclusive or 100% accurate. Might have the years wrong on a couple.

I took my driver's test in my mother's 1954 Olds 88, blue. The car and I were born the same year.

1960 Corvair, black w/ 2 white stripes painted on with a paint roller (not by me). Given to me by a neighbor. First car. Sold my bicycle to pay for plates & first insurance payment. My dad gave me the parts to rebuild the engine for Christmas 1970.

1961 Mercury Comet, dark blue. Received as payment for work done on another car. Did some work on it and sold it.

1960 DeSoto, bright red when new, much faded when I got it. Given to me by my aunt. She bought it new in 1960. Had push button controls for the trans & heater.

1963 Olds 98, green. Won it on a bet and sold it pretty quick.

1963 Olds 98, white. One of my all time favorites.

    1966 Dodge Coronet 440 4 door, beige. Slant 6.

A 1970 Challenger, red, belonging to a friend was the car I drove when my wife and I went on our first date.

3 different Dodge Darts, all green, all with the slant 6. One had an interior redone in large black & white plaid with a 3 on the tree. Great work cars.

    1964 Olds 88, red

1968 Chevy Impala, 2 door. Maroon dog house, the rest was green. Had been in a wreck before I got it.

1972 Olds Cutlass, 2 Dr, blue.

1975 Datsun 620 pickup, blue. First new vehicle, biggest mistake I ever made in a vehicle.

    1965 Corvair, gold

1968 Volvo 164, black. Got it cheap, rebuilt the engine. Loved driving this thing. Got an offer too good to turn down and sold it.

1971 AMC Hornet wagon, green. Yes, a green hornet, really.

    1972 Chevy C10, green

    1981 Datsun 510, blue

    1983 Dodge Colt Vista, white

    1983 Chevy Malibu wagon, blue

    1990 Ford Ranger, red

    2003 Toyota Corolla, silver

    2007 Toyota Tacoma, black

    2006 Saturn Vue, silver

    2011 Jeep Patriot, red

2013 Dodge Ram 1500, dark gray

    2017 Promaster City van, white

Edit: My experience is that ugly, boring used cars last forever. You wish they would die, but they won't.

Nope. We don't do the computerized vehicles. The 1999 was as new as we got and that was challenging at time for the old school dude to work on. When we sold it to my son, we bought the first suburban. Hubby's daily is a 1983, and his other truck is a 1967. He does have a 2001 Yamaha Roadstar motorcycle.

Wow do you guys keep a list handy? I go through more cars than your average person I just like them but wow I can’t believe you guys remember them all. In my 30’s and have had well over 20 cars but couldn’t begin to list all of them especially in order.

Where ever my GPS says I am
"Color of your first/favorite car" is a common security question, so I'll pass on creating a public list.

We should do favorite food and mother's maiden name next. :shady:
I thought the same thing, but since it isn’t any of my questions/answers, I’ll play. Also this user name is only used on this forum.

95 grand am, green (sold due to problems)
01 Malibu, silver (sold due to problems)
99 xj, gold (sold due to being dumb, didn’t drive it much. Should’ve never sold it)
09 accord, greyish yellow (sold after someone pulled out in front of me for a third time, ripping off front bumper)
98 Kawasaki Vulcan motorcycle (sold due to problems)
16 Chevy equinox (traded in due to space and unknown reliability in the future)
22 Honda Pilot, Honda grey, current car.

Got the grand am when I turned 18 going to college, now 40 and have only regretted getting rid of the jeep. The rest were either having issues or fear of future issues minus the accord moved them along.

I didn't consider that when I started the thread. I was just thinking about cars.
It's funny and old job I wrote an article for the website about just this sort of thing. I should really know better.

For the record I wasn't trying to be sneaky.

    But as far as
First car, fav food and mother's maiden name...

First car was a station wagon, favorite food is slightly dry turkey, and her name is Griswold. :D

Yeah I don’t use cars as a security question. 47 years old and have been married 25 years. So we have owned a few cars. Don’t forget kids. This does not include company vehicles just those with my name on the title.
