Your recommendation for a sling

I just purchased a Rock River .223 and I'm lookin for a sling and would appreciate your input. single vs double point slings. thanks.

SOE single point sling.
with a single point attachment, there is less material that is just hanging around. depending on your situation - as a hunter, survivalist, or just a range shooter, there is more wrapped around your body and less to get wrapped around something else.

I'd recommend an Urban ERT sling. I recently acquired 2 of them and they are very nice. They are an Indiana company as well

+1 for the MS slings. I run the MS2 sling and really like it. I would like the MS3 but can't spend the $$$ on it yet.

i like the magpul you ms3 you get both a one point and a two point sling then you can determine which would better fit you and you like the most

This is what im using i prefer 2 point over 1 point. Everything mentioned so far in this thread is good choices.

You should really ask yourself what you want the sling for. Shooting stability and comfort of lugging a rifle around, or easier transitions to off hand.

+1 on the Magpul MS3, I like the one with the QD Swivel atachment better than the clip type. Connect mine at the endplate using the noveske endplate that will connect a QD swivel.

Out of the two magpul (ms2 and ms3) I've had the ms3 feels considerably nicer.
