When Trump gets convicted, (if the polls aren’t some sort of Psy-op), the next guy up will have to assume the nomination.
I doubt that he would drop his candidacy, even if convicted of 1 or more felony charges. He couldn't vote for himself, but I think that he would continue to run. Whether it is even remotely possible that he could win is another question.

These debates are an insult to the intelligence of the American people.
At first I agreed with you, but then I thought about it.

I'm not so sure that the American people have much intelligence left.
    Really...
That's why we're seeing crap like this.
Getting involved in other people's wars is fine, but our own open borders are destroying the homeland...
Men can get pregnant, and everything is racist...
    Crazy-ass plague restrictions...
Joe got 81 million votes from his basement...
Our country is being run by a dementia patient and a cackling idiot.

Stick a fork in us, we're just about done.

I disagree entirely, I've seen more policy speech and articulation of views than in anything I saw in the 90s or early 00s.

It feels like candidates are having to actually establish themselves rather than just quote stump speeches. There are side show freaks like Christie and Haley, but so far everyone else has done a pretty effective job.
