It is that time of year again folks. Here is to hoping we can get this on the ground and have a great match.



***************2023 Matches will Start at 11AM and we are setting up the morning of. We will need alot of help to get the match on the ground by 11 so please come help if you are able. *********************


This match is sponsored by Applied Ballistics in Lafayette. Each match we will raffle off a few prizes during the shooter's meeting. Prizes include, but are not limited to, free ammo, free range time, shirts, hats, and Cerakote gift certificates. This match will consist of 5 Field Courses and a classifier (Maybe)


Setup will be the morning of the match starting at 7:30 AM Those who show up on Saturday before 8AM to help setup will shoot for FREE.


Shooter's meeting will be at 10:45 am Saturday morning. We start shooting at 11AM EST.

Round count will be around 100-120 rounds.

MATCH FEE breaks down as follows.

Regular match fee = $20.
WVRPC member = $15
*****Saturday before 8 AM setup Help will shoot for FREE
RO = $FREE

As always, I'm in need of ROs. Please consider stepping up and ROing a squad.

SON OF A BEACH!

Been waiting for the WVRPC matches to start (I’m in Lafayette and want a membership but have to attend so many events to be eligible), but we’re still treating seed on weekends for the next few weeks. Looks like I’ll have to wait for April (don’t host it the 15th, I’ll be gone that week lol)… Totally happy to help set up and RO as well, as long as I can still shoot the match while doing so!!

We are still a go. Not going to get any snow that I can see. Going to be a bit chilly in the morning but we will be there.

Well Mother nature proved me wrong. Tons of rain today and now it is snowing as Riverman said. Was really hoping to get this one on the ground but the ground is so soft that getting anything to stand up would be challenging along with the colder temps coming in. Hope to see you all next month!
