Yes, those semi auto AR based space guns are pretty heavy and there is no recoil. Even with a stock AR service rifle, for me to get a good position for my cheek and the sights, the whole buttstock is in the air, only the sling loop touches my shoulder. All the recoil is held by the charging handle on my moustache. Works with the M16, bad deal on the M-14.
