Winchester model 88 lever rifle for sale. It was made in 1968. The carbines are fairly rare and so is the .284 chambering. There is a little rust on top of the sight hood and also on a little area of the barrel band. The rest of the metal is excellent. The wood has a few minor handling marks and a small scuff. Overall in great condition. There is a Weaver one piece scope base on the receiver. They were factory drilled, so no problem with that. Overall, this rifle is in way above average condition. Would rate it about 97%....Asking $2,200. Might take another firearm in trade toward purchase.....Something of interest to me.
