    I have to admit I struggle with this. I shoot a 1911 better than any other gun, by far. But I carry a H&K P2000 because it carries so well and I shoot it okay. So it is a compromise.

    I can make no argument why "Not" to own a G**** past my own opinion of the platform. Just like the fella in the video stated. A tool that fills a niche. It works.

    The 1911 can be and most times is "art"

    I have a couple of 2011's. They are serious pieces. But they do not elicit the same emotions I get from my 1911's.

    This old campaigner was shooting at Pancho Villa, then went to WW 1, still shoots quite well today. Nothing wrong with new guns, but they are new guns. We can address this question again in 100 years.;)
