Looking for suggestions on who does lever action work. I got a Rossi Lever action .44 mag I want to get fixed/customized. It has a 24" octagon barrel and a full length magazine that holds 12 rounds. First problem was it's new, not right and I didn't notice when I got it. The front sight is way loose in the dovetail, and the first time I shot it, the magazine tube started to creep forward. I was thinking of making it a carbine with a 16/18" barrel and shortening the magazine to right at the end of the fore end. (maybe 6 rounds) I have a mare's leg I want it to match, and a carbine with an octagon barrel just sounds kinda interesting. I know there are specialists, but I was looking for someone in state.
Concept... no, I don't do photoshop...
