What would you do?

I saw this post on Reddit in the Idiots with guns sub-Reddit. Someone's pistol dropped into a porta-potty. Just wondering what you all would do. Would you grab it out of the porta-potty or would you leave it. 3 out of 4 people I work with said they'd grab it out with one saying he'd leave it.

If its what it looks like, I might leave it. No sense getting your mitts dirty for a stupid Hi Point.

If its my Glock? Grab it. That washes off. And the grip is still exposed so I dont have to touch the gunk.

The only difficulty would be getting it home without getting that crap all over everywhere.

Now if it sunk to the bottom like a rock? I might just have to let it go. (and report it stolen of course)

Pull my pants up, after I bought some new jeans.
Buy a better holster, and learn how to carry a sidearm.
Get a magnet n take the firearm to the nearest running water outdoors. YMMV
