My first gun was a Jimenez Arms 9mm that I couldn't get more than 2-3 shots off without a FTL or FTE, that lasted 2 days, then I got the Taurus PT 24/7 PRO .40, then traded that in on the G23 a few weeks later.

It was either the FIE Titan (Tanfoglio .25) or the Helwan Brigadier (Beretta 951 licensed copy,) I really can't recall now. Eighteen years ago. The little Tanfoglio is still around (great little gun if you have a use for a .25) but the Helwan is long gone... and that's okay. ;)

My first handgun was a Russian Makarov .380 Auto. Fun handgun, have not even shot 50 rounds through it and have owned it for 15 yrs.

I bought a Sigma .40 and the 9mm. Carried the .40 though. I put 500 to 600 rounds through both and couldnt hit the targets with more than 6/10.

Traded both in for my current G23. Right after paying for it, I went to the range and hit 10/10.
