Springfield Armory Hellcat 9mm currently. Also have a Sig P365 that I like as well for carrying. When I am going pocket gun style i use the Ruger LCP II but it is really small of course.

Carry a full size Colt 1911 with 10rnd mags exclusively since I got it back from the GBI. Long story short it was stolen and about 3yrs later they reached out to let me know they had recovered it during a foot chase in Atlanta. Spent a few hundred replacing sites and getting it refinished. Actually had a 30rnd mag in the box. Freaked the agent out when I pulled the mag out, looked at it puzzled, and threw it in the garbage can next to him.

Lately a HELLCAT, formerly a G26, and prior to that an assortment of Detonics CombaatMaster 1911 pattern sub-compact 45ACP pistols.

Very nice rotation. Quick question: My son is planning on purchasing a 365XL to EDC. What is your opinion on the 365XL?

I purchased the XL before Sig came out with all the other variants. I'd recommend shooting them before purchasing.

In rotation:
- Kahr CM9: smallest for pocket carry.
- SW Shield Plus Performance Center, ported barrel: next size up.
- Taurus GX4
- 38 sp. revolvers: Ruger LCR or Taurus 856
- CZ Rami: special occasions.

Mostly the Kahr or a revolver get daily duty.

Usually a Kimber Micro 9. Occasionally I carry a CZ P-01.

Lots of folks have migrated their carry gun to the micro 9s. I own a Shield Plus but have not yet embraced small gun EDC. Maybe one of these days, but for now, the P229 still works for me.

I did pick up Glock 33 this month, so maybe there's hope for me yet.
