Nice shooting from 80 yards with iron sights! Not sure I could see a target at 80 yards unless it was as big as a barn.

I did that with 20/40 vision. My eyes suck!

Great shooting Josh!

I think, of the Modified Mosin Brethren, you shot the best yesterday. My performance was sub par, but still plenty good for minute of man (or coyote or pig). I walked away happy, but not as happy as I could have been.

I won't be happy until I can achieve 1MOA or better at 100yds with crappy eyesight.

That depends on the individual rifle.

I almost made the plunge yesterday. Looked over a few Mosin's. The laminated ones they had were VERY nice and almost got me but the $159 price tag pushed me away. I think I'll wait until they go on sale again.

If you're at all close to Wabash, you can drive on over here and I can likely negotiate an $80 price at Dunham's. That's how I got mine for cheap!

Dan, I looked there last week. They had a few in the crate but upon inspection I noticed the last few were pretty beat up. I guessed from people not being careful while digging through them looking for a good one.

I noticed that the last time I was there. The 2 I got were a little dinged up but I call that charater.
