So I was reading the news out of Wisconsin, where I have family and found this article.

Shawano men sentenced to federal prison for gun "straw purchases - WAOW - Newsline 9, Wausau News, Weather, Sports

Two men were sentenced to federal prison for straw purchases. Two guns were found on the way to Mexico, and one found in a drug bust in California.

The judge said he needed to send a message and only gave the guy 1 year... so maybe half that actually in County lock up... message received.

Chief Judge William Griesbach said during Zepeda's sentencing that "a message needed to be sent to those who would buy firearms in order to transfer them."
