    The next Tactical Shooters Alliance will be on Sunday, August 28th at the TriCounty Coon Hunters Association.

    Match fee is $20
    Setup begins at 8:00 AM
    Registration opens at 9:00 AM
    Safety brief at 9:45 AM
    Match starts at 10:00 AM

    Match Description:
    - Four courses of fire (2 CQB, 1 skills, 1 rifle)
    - Semi-auto rifle with sling (sling is mandatory)
    - 3 rifle mags and a way to care of them on your person
    - Handgun with a OWB holster
    - 3 pistol mags and a way to care of them on your person (revolvers are allowed)
    - Eye and ear protection required
    - 100 rounds of both rifle and handgun ammo
    - 100 yards max distance rifle shot
    - No Steel Core Ammo

    Volunteers to help setup will be critical for 2-gun matches to continue happening in the future. All this is contingent on the CQB bays not being too muddy or it raining on Sunday. An email will be sent ASAP if the match is canceled.

    I’m not even sure when I was there last. I am planning on heading down in the morning and I’ll be there in time to help with set up.
    I won’t be “competing” because I’ll be running .22, but I’m definitely looking forward to some fun!
    I’m not aware of any changes to the 10 round mag rule. Someone else will have to chime in, or we’ll find out in the morning! :) See you guys then!

    10 rounds is still the max.

    Just about every match there is a target on the rifle stage that is activated by knocking over a steel target. .22LR probably won’t get the job done. If you can bring centerfire handgun and/or rifle to use on the rifle stage, then use .22LR for the stages in the pistol bays, you’ll save yourself some frustration.
