Yummmmmy! Add some bacon and they're good to go.

I've shot six this season, and every damn one was fully infested with fleas and ticks. I don't remember ever seeing it like this before, certainly not while growing up. Makes me wonder whether they are even safe to eat.

Man we haven't had any in our neck of the woods. They must of been warning each other to stay away from our property.

I could sit at my table out back and get at least 6 in under an hour If I wanted to. Neighbors would freak the hell out but hey, they tear up everything.
I will have to greatly reduce the numbers by spring when we put in the gardens.

Thank you so much for decreasing the tree rat population.
But the best way to fix them is to put them all in one big bag and then throw them in the trash. I'd never eat them nasty little things.

If you don't have a suppressor, live trap baited with sunflower seeds will catch them, then take the trap to a remote location to dispatch the rats.

Five nice sized reds is what the four of us had.
U ever tried them? Better than any fast food out there I know were the meat came from and how it was cleaned and prepared

Does your wife have a single sister that cooks?

If it weren't so damned cold I'd break out the pellet rifle. Velocity drops way off in this weather.

I like mine pan fried so that you can make some gravy to pour over some homemade biscuits or mashed potatoes.

My grandfather always wanted us to save the brains so he could cook them with scrambled eggs.
