The Chicago "Shot spotter" deal has gotten more interesting. Mayor said they were dropping it after the DNC convention this summer but the actual contract expired at 12:01 this morning, he planned on a six month contract extension. Shot spotter told him to go pound sand, they will not do a short term extension. That is the last word I heard yesterday so I can't say if an arrangement could have been reached.
