My local gun shop has a Silencer Shop Kiosk, and it makes things super simple. You do your finger prints on the kiosk and it saves them to your account. Once all your info is in there, all you have to do is update your picture every year that you want to buy a new suppressor. I also set up my trust through them Silencer Shop and it was super simple.

Are there ATF specific fingerprint cards that must be used?
You can order them direct from ATF. I posted that info elsewhere, but let me grab it again. I got mine in just a few days from them for free.

Edit update: Fingerprint cards for NFA submission from ATF website. Says it could take 6-8 weeks to get them https://www.atf.gov/firearms/docs/form/fingerprint-card-instructions-and-example-fd-258

Yes and no. As long as they're FD-258 fingerprint cards (which is the standard card for all PD/Sheriff/Jails in the US), then you'll be good.

I just found some in the envelope from DOJ when I inquired about becoming an FFL.

    I presume these will work?

edit; just called Sheriff Dept & they said they have cards & I don't need an appt.
