The M&P .40 with an OEM .357sig barrel swapped in is a nice shooting pistol.
Some years back, my go to gun shop up north had them cheap, and over 6 months or so I bought two.

They were first generation, so I also updated the Sear Housing Block and Striker Assembly, as some of the early ones had trouble.
Ended up with two in .357 Sig without spending a ton of money.
i'm not sure which gen the m&p were. but i really wanted one. when my p229 comes in i just may get a .357 sig barrel. i might hold off on the swap til the middle of summer. even with ammo prices dropping, i'm still spending about $150 each range trip just on 9mm, .40, and .45.

Got the second P229 .40SW DAK today.
It's serial number is only 8 numbers away from the first one I got.
It has the E2 grip on it where the first one had the slotted screw type grips on it.
It's in good shape other than some light wear spots towards the front on one side of the slide.
I swapped in a new OEM .357 Sig barrel, and have another keeper.

I got the grips in for the P229 that I picked up last weekend and sights for the spare .40 slide that blasted this week. I like how this is coming out and now need to find an SRT and SS in stock somewhere

Got some guy trying to sell a P226 in 40 S&W for $1600.00. I think it might take him awhile at that price.
Noticed that as well. I don't know that line of Sigs, but seemed quite high to me.

On another note, just swapped one of my 365's grip module out for a WC 365 XL module. Liking it. Need to shoot it, but thinking I'll like this quite a bit. Got the WC modules on my 320 x-compacts and like them alot.

OK, now that I see that it's a stainless version, it might well be a $1600 pistol. Not many full stainless P226s made and the do fetch serious money

Just yesterday I received my WC grip module and installed on my P365. Love the feel. Range time tomorrow.

Well it’s been a month since I complained to sig about my dot getting dirty from the lci on my 320 legion, so I emailed and asked about the barrel they were supposed to send me, he replied “sorry for the miscommunication, I need a picture of the dot covered with carbon”

I’ve shot it at two matches since the first email, and cleaned the glass at both matches! And now it’s clean!!! So now I have to make a trip to the range, shoot it, get it dirty, just for them to replace something they know is a problem (because the new legions don’t have the lci)

Beginning to think sig has taken a page from the H&K customer service manual…”You buy our products, and we hate you!”

Ok so I put 160 rounds through it yesterday, then took these pics and sent sig an email, today at 8:30 sig emailed me and said they’d ship me the replacement barrel, then 20 minutes later they called me to confirm my address (I had two on file, one was my home, and the other was my previous work address), when I got the shipping confirmation email, they’d shipped it fedex, today and it’ll deliver on Wednesday by 8pm!

So…I somewhat take back my comment about their customer service, the initial email was bull poo (asking for a picture of the gun with the sight, and I sent it, him not telling me that they wanted a picture of the sight dirty, and not telling me that when I sent the picture!) but them expediting the shipping makes up for that (kinda) but I will have my barrel in time for my match on Thursday

The new P322 was completely designed and built by SIG SAUER in New Hampshire and is loaded with premium features, including an optic ready removable rear sight plate so you can easily add a ROMEOZero red dot optic without the use of adapter plates.

The P322 also comes with a threaded barrel adapter making it suppressor ready right out of the box, and with it’s ambidextrous controls, interchangeable flat and curved triggers and fiber optic front and rear sights the new P322 is the highest capacity, most advanced 22 pistol in its class.

Interested to see some internals and disassembled pics of the P322. I'm not sure I see anything mentioning it being a true striker fired pistol, but certainly hoping so. I love my TX-22.

It is a fixed barrel, hammer fired single action only design and I want one…
Eh, so more like the S&W M&P compact, with the internal hammer and fixed barrel, except double stack, vs striker fired, removable barrel, like the TX-22.

I'm interested, but that's a strike against it (no pun intended)

Not sure it would have been feasible on a 22, but was hoping for a modular system like a 320/365, striker fired. Not sure an FCU would have been possible on rimfire.

Still interested, just not sure it displaces TX-22 for me.

I was thinking of selling of my M&P compact 22 and buying a second TX-22 and not sure if this release changes those plans or not.

The P250 had an FCU, if I recall. DAO hammer fired. I don't know my an FCU wouldn't be doable for a rimfire.

Agreed, I just wasn't 100% sure if there was anything specific to rimfire that might have precluded it. . Rimfire that was compatible with grip modules already on the market would have been... Perfection.

That said, I'd have also preferred it being striker fired as well, which is 100% doable on a rimfire.
