I really like the P229 in 357 Sig, BUT THIS HAS TO STOP! :)
    It only gets worse...

i now have 3 p229s, 2 p220s, just ordered a p250 40 s&w last week, and ordering a p320 in 45 next week. the only reason i didn't order the p320 was i took a few days to order me a radical 300 blk. only reason it wasn't a sig tread was the fantastic price. the tread will be next after the p320.

i told my shrink i don't wanna stop. i want more sigs.

There's a P229 in .357 Sig in the classifieds too. With the ammo and 11 mags, it's a steal @ $750. I picked up a similar P229 a couple of weeks back for $600. Mags run from $20 to $30, so there's at least $160 in spare mags. The ammo is worth at least $200.

If anyone is looking to get into .357 Sig, that one is a good entry point.

when i picked up the last p229 i thought about what you were saying about the 357 sig conversion. my thoughts at this time is to keep it as a parts gun. it's getting close to impossible to find some parts for the classic sigs.

Yeah, that's a bit high but like new ones with box are often over 1K, decent ones sell on GB often in the 500-600's.

So question for SIG-aholics , been really considering getting a 10mm. Anyone have any experience with the P220 Legion in 10mm? I am intrigued due to it being a full stainless frame and slide gun, my only annoyance is it is not cut for optics. Also do they have any issues with proper super hot 10mm , most of the ammo I am sure it will shoot will be off the shelf underpowered 10mm but would like to occasionally run the buffalo bore stuff.

I don't have the Legion. I have the reverse 2 tone that came out at the start of the 220-10s. I have never shot Buffalo Bore, I did shoot some Underwood, no issues. I would also note the Sig 10mm ammo is also loaded to the traditional 10mm levels, not the .40 level that most of the other major manufacturers load to

Very good to hear, I just threw the legion out since it's the only one still in production to my knowledge. At first I balked at the price untill I realized the frame was stainless too.

I've ran just over a thousand rounds through mine. All of those, save for 1 box of Magtech, have been 180gr reloads running 1200fps or better. So far she's been 100% reliable. I'm gonna get mine cut for a dot here soon.
