I received 8 mags for my P229 in .40 from AB Prototype today. I ordered 4 used and 4 very used mags. 3 of the 4 used mags look like they had never been in a pistol before and the 4th looks like it had been inserted but not fired. The 4 'very used mags are all newer looking than my existing mags. They had been fired nut not a lot. Those last mags were only $9 each. New P229. 40 mags are running at about $50 a mag when you can find them

Not sure what you are looking for, but I really like LOK grips on my Q5 and if I get an AXG will be putting them on it. Probably not the brass ones though.
Honestly im not sure either lol. I like options though lol. LOK grips look like the nicest ones out there, although im not sold on the swell grips.

Anyone have a Romeo1 pro? How do you like it or dislike it? Im putting the p320 back together with my holiday bonus. Ill probably just grab an AXG grip and a loaded slide with the romeo 1 pro on it. Its cheaper than getting another slide, milling, holosun, and tall sights.

The slide I picked up in October for my P229 has the Romeo1 Pro on it. I’ve put about 300 rounds through the gun and so far, I like the sight a lot. It’s a bit different than my RMR in that it does not auto-dim and it has shake-awake. I have nothing negative to say about the Romeo1 Pro so far, but it’s not been subject to a lot of carry to date.

Today was moving day. My .357 Sig barrel was moved from the non-railed P226 and into my new P226R. The non-railed P226 got a 9mm Mk25 barrel and my P229 Legion got a .357 Sig barrel. They all went to the range at lunch to check function and will all get cleaned tonight.

I did a quick range trip to PB today at lunch and shot only Sigs. I came away thinking that I need to replace the X-ray sights on the Legions. I cannot pick up the green sight with every day glasses. When I switched to the P226 with yellow Night Fision sights, it was as if someone turned the lights on. I was amazed at the difference.

I’ve been putting the Night Fision on everything I can to date. They are my go to sights for the P07s, P10s, Shield Plus, 1911s and Sigs. I had been holding off on swapping the front sights on the Sig Legions though, since they are already an upgraded sight but that dark green dot is near invisible to me with my mediocre color vision.

My only gripe about the Night Fision sights is that a couple of years ago the sales rep at the Indy NRA show said that they would have CZ 75 sights coming out that summer and I’m still waiting on those. I’ve seen nothing comparable for the CZ sight cut out there.

Interesting. I have a yellow front site on the way for my P99c to give them a try. :yesway:

Changed up my plan a little for the p320. Got another AXG grip and a .40sw xchange coming. AXG in .40 should be sweet and ill just get a holsun cut done on that slide. I was going to go with .357sig, then i looked at the price of ammo lol.

.357 is definitely for the handloaders. I did pick up some ammo to practice with until I get my reloading stuff set up, but long term plan is to handload. I'm bot sure about the P320, but can maybe get .357 sig with just a barrel if you have a 40 slide and mag?

Sig has some of the almost reasonable range ammo:

.357 Sig is a great round but it can be pricey. Best thing to do is to have both barrels and plink with .40, then carry with .357 Sig. You'll still want to practice with. 357 Sig also but you can get the bulk of your practice done in .40
