Easier to reload as well. I have a real problem hammering small primers into a 9. Large primers into a 45 are much easier to hit.

My daughter usually shot .38 or 9mm. She avoided the .45 after she got bloodied once with it.

Update: the knee is doing great, very little pain the last week or so. Moving very well. I would say I am at about 80 - 90%.
