I spent the night with the Phantom on the nightstand as usual. I got up and grabbed Compact #2 to spend the morning with me. Compact #1, my bestest, my EDC, has been in the safe all week. It feels like cheating.

I must have drank a few to many beers last night. I ordered up some expensive parts for one of my 1911's.
Never drink and post. Never drink and get on Brownells/optics planet.....

Yeah.......guess I am doing another compensated 1911.

Dan's guns are OK. No knock on them except for price point and what you get. Same issues I have with Kimber's.

I see how they would be OK with the purchase. It is a personal thing with me. I have shot more than a few. I have worked on a couple. They are ok pieces just pricey.
People justify dropping 4K on a wilson. I see the point just do not see the extra money.
A $1200 Springer TRP will run right with a Wilson. May not be as pretty but it will run.
