OK fellas I need some help.
As some know I have been down and dead in the water for over 6 weeks now. 13 days in the hospital and now home but fellas I am dead tired out of steam and will be a minute before I get back up to fighting strength.
Issue....My Caddy is loosing the alternator. CKW had to start driving my truck a few days into my hospital stay. SIL replace the battery and that lasted a day or so. Back to power saver mode now.
Who ever designed this Cluster **** need to be neutered. Alternator is low on the engine and not to be attempted by myself especially sans lift.
My 1 option at having this done may come up cold but still remains to be seen. I need this fixed.

    Ideas.....???????
Wish you were closer buddy, I'd change it for you, Even though I hate working on cadillacs.

The 5.7 has 10.5 compression so it cannot handle much boost. The pistons are the weak link forged aluminum with thin lands.
Procharger makes a nice system with about 8 psi.

Wish you were closer, I would handle this for you. I know I've been in your place myself and people stepped up to help us out.

Glad to hear you're back home.

It’s close the Super Stock is supposed to be the fastest in a straight line. 0-60 in 3.25 seconds 10.50 in the 1/4.

GT500 is supposed to do 0-60 in 3.3 seconds and 10.70 in the 1/4.

The GT500’s motor is more like a true small block. Screams between 4,500 and redline.

The Super Stock is a sledge hammer instant torque. The weight transfer is awesome in track mode.
