The only thing I worry about the Mustang is, almost everything on it is custom. If anything goes wrong, that’s a big oof. Can’t just go down to autozone for a big block swapped new edge.

That and the weight difference may make the handling go all to hell. Not sure what the difference is, but it may just be a straight line machine. Depends on how you plan to use it.

Yeah for sure just a straight line cruiser. No corner carving for that hunk of metal.

I don't think I'd be TOO worried about that; the essentials are all basic stuff. Besides it'd be entertaining to tell Joe parts computer guy that "yes it DOES have a 557" engine in it despite what your computer says".

Pretty sure I would have to lose the hood immediately. Gotta let that muscle show.

Personally never been a big Nova fan after they stopped selling the square bodies but for some reason I like the Ventura's. As stated above I'd end up spending another 10k on it to make it mine.

We'll try and be good while you're in although I've already talked to a couple of nurses, ask for a mirror when you wake up. They have something special in mind for you while you're under.

One of the fastest "stock" cars I've ever driven was a 340 Duster mildly cammed and badgered.

Yeah good looking cars but I always liked the look of them with just a little bit of rake. I think the front end of that one needs @ 2" of drop in the front to give it a proper stance.
Don't get me wrong, too much rake such as the old stink bug look from some '80s builds was way too much. But a little gives it some attitude
